Bio-data form – To be filled by the candidate and submit the same at the time of Certificate verification TNSTC Regions – Villupuram, Coimbatore, Salem, Dharmapuri, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, SETC TN Ltd and MTC, Chennai. can increase or decrease the number of vacancies no matter what was mentioned in the notification itself.
The claim for admission under the category is subject to the verification of original certificates.
The provisional admission of the candidate for Certificate Verification does not confer any rights for selection of Apprenticeship Training.
(Since the shortlist is prepared based on the percentage of marks and community declared by the student, the rank list may change after physical verification of original certificates, in case any mismatch are observed.)

Required Documents for Certificate Verification

Please report along with the following Original Certificates and one set of Xerox copies:
a. Degree/Diploma certificate
b. Consolidated Mark Sheet/All semester mark sheets to verify the percentage of marks.
If awarded CGPA, convert this to equivalent percentage as (CGPAx10)
For Graduate / Non-Engineering Graduates
(Ex: 9.67 = 96.70) (with two decimal)
For Diploma
Consolidated mark sheet – Ex:.4193*100/4400= 95.29 (with two decimal)
c. Community Certificate, in case of SC/ST/OBC. In case of OBC (NCL), Certificate (for BC/ MBC/DNC) shall be in the Central Government approved format, clearly indicating the Non- Creamy layer status, otherwise your claim for OBC will not be considered.
d. PwD certificate (Person with Disability) if applicable
(Kindly note, request for change of date for verification of the original certificates will not be entertained.)

Instruction Of Candidates

Please read the following instruction:
I. TRAVEL EXPENSES:
No TA / DA will be paid for attending certificate verification.
II. BOARDING/LODGING:
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible during selection process.
III. Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period in the TNSTC Regions – Villupuram, Coimbatore, Salem, Dharmapuri, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, SETC TN Ltd and MTC, Chennai., there will be NO obligation to offer regular employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
IV. The Graduate and Diploma (Technician) Apprenticeship Training is for a period of one year.
V. Monthly Stipend for Graduate Apprentice is Rs.9000/- and Diploma (Technician) Apprentices is Rs.8000/-
VI. If two or more candidates secured same percentage of marks, their date of birth and year of passing shall be considered for seniority in the merit list.
VII. The candidate who has already undergone/undergoing Apprenticeship Training, (or) having work experience of more than one (1) year are not eligible to attend this certificate verification.
VIII. You will be allowed to MTC Training Centre – Chrompet MTC Depot II Campus, only at specified time mentioned in the call letter.
IX. The Short listed candidates are advised to wear the face mask and maintaining social distancing while entering MTC Training Centre – Chrompet MTC Depot II Campus and follow the instructions given by the BOAT(SR) officials strictly.

Kindly bring the filled Bio Data (format enclosed) along with Photocopies /Xerox of Degree/Diploma Provisional Certificate, Consolidated Mark Sheet, Community Certificate and Person with Disability (PwD – if applicable) while coming for certificate verification, along with a copy of this email.

Note:
Based on the marks and community the selection list shall be prepared. The place of training in TNSTC Regions/ SETC/ MTC shall be allotted depending upon the choice of candidates and vacancies available in the TNSTC Region as per our notification. Once place of training allotted based on marks, community, vacancies and choice of candidates, the candidates cannot claim right transfer to some other TNSTC/SETC/ MTC.
