What is BSE Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test?

Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)-2024 is conducted by Board Of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack. OTET who aspire to become teachers for Classes-I to VIII in the schools of the State Government private aided schools and private unaided schools in the State of Odisha.

Step By Step Instructions For Online Challenge On Responses Of Answer Keys
1. The provisional answer keys of OTET, 2024 is available in the website bseodisha.ac.in.
2. The candidates are free to challenge the responses given in the answer key online on visiting the website bseodisha.ac.in (24 x 7 ) from 19/09/2024 10.00am till 28/09/2024 midnight.
3. The candidates shall have to deposit fee as well as submit their online application on or before 29/09/2024 midnight.
4. Under no circumstances, the last date fixed above shall be extended.
5. The candidates can login by entering their Roll No. and Mobile No.
6. After login, you will be directed to make payment of fee through online mode only.
7. You can upload maximum of 10 documents in support of your responses.
8. Enter your savings bank details, so that in case your responses is accepted by the Board, the fee amount for that responses shall be refunded by way of RTGS to your savings account. Thereafter click “Final Submit” button to download the acknowledgement receipt.
9. The fee for challenge is Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred) only per each response.

Examination Paper Format of OTET

(I) There shall be two papers of the OTET viz- Paper-I and Paper-II.
(II) Total duration of the test in each paper shall be 2½ hours.
(III) All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions, each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. Questions will be set to assess candidate’s ability to analyze, interpret and apply the subject matter.
(IV) The question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.
(V) Following languages shall be offered in Language – I:- Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali. The candidate has to choose any one of the above languages for Language-l subject.
(VI) Language-II subject shall be English for all candidates.
(VII) There shall be no negative marking.
